Scooby-Doo gets a grungy makeover in this fast-fashion toolkit
Inspired by the punk rock energy of the Hex Girls this toolkit reimagines the iconic Mystery Inc. Bold textures, gig poster layouts, gritty overlays and graphics that nod to classic horror and underground music zines.
With its rebellious tone and nostalgic edge, the toolkit channels both the humour and style of Scooby-Doo through a fresh, fashion-forward lens — perfect for fans who grew up on the gang but are ready to wear them a little louder.

A selection of our favourite assets from this guide
This toolkit was a lot of fun! It originally started as a punk rock–themed concept for the villains of Scooby-Doo, with Scooby and the gang taking a back seat. However, as the project developed, stakeholders felt the graphics were a bit too edgy for the target market, so we took a new approach — this time with the Hex Girls and the gang in the spotlight.
We reimagined the gang as if they were a band, and created some poster-style ideas for the Hex Girls. When it came time for final delivery, we were asked to re-submit the original villain-led graphics as a supporting act, so none of the development work went to waste.
All in all, this toolkit turned out great — and it’s still one of our all-time favourites.
